2007 Patland Cabernet Sauvignon Magnum
95 Points - Wine Enthusiast
Soft, decadent and approachable, this Cabernet Sau- vignon is blended with a little Malbec. It offers flavors of blackberry jam, black currant, dark chocolate and cedar that continue on the long, spicy finish. This is lovely to drink now and over the next five years. —S.H.
92 Points - Purely Domestic Wine Report
Stagecoach Vineyard, Napa Valley, 14.8% alcohol, $80. 333 cs. 95CS|05MB
A nose of stone fruits and mint, concentrated and fairly complex. The palate is rich and robust with dense texture appearing in the mid-palate. Black fruits abound with herbs and lavender adding some nice undertones. It is a very approachable wine that should make lots of friends. Drink 2011 – 2020. - DW

Tasting Notes:
Dark garnet hue; Deeply layered aromas of black cherry, cassis, graphite, truffle, molasses, French oak, sage, vanilla and black pepper. Expect a full mid palate density laced with intense flavors of chocolate covered cherries, integrated toasty oak, blackberry, toasted almonds and baker’s chocolate. The persistent yet balanced finish exhibits excellent depth, purity, and elegance.
