2013 Patland Rose
Vintage 2013 marks the second release of Patland Rosé. The blend is comprised of Syrah, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from Stagecoach Vineyard above Oakville and the Patland Estate up Soda Canyon Road.
The components of this Rosé were fermented in 55% stainless steel and 45% neutral barrels. Primary fermentation was allowed to complete to dryness, while secondary fermentation was suppressed to preserve the crisp acidity and vibrant fruit. This 2013 Rosato was bottled after only 6 months of barrel aging in order to capture the essence of a classic bright rosé and to ensure perfect timing for Spring and Summer enjoyment!

“Bright raspberries, cherry, strawberry, floral perfume and white pepper spice entice the senses. Flavors of kiwi strawberry, bing cherry, watermelon jolly rancher, and rhubarb pie lead the way to a crisp, refreshing finish. Pairs well with flip flops, smoked salmon, shellfish, sushi, most BBQ, wood fired pizzas and soft tacos of every kind!” Winemaker, Jay Buoncristiani
