This wine is best characterized by its subtle elegance. It smells softly of black cherry and purple flowers. It tastes of anise, blackberries, smoked meat and graphite. It strikes a brief pyrazine note before fading into a finish of soft tannins and milk chocolate flavor. This wine is the epitome of balance. It will drink beautifully on it’s own, but would also serve as the perfect compliment to a cut of filet mignon.
