James Suckling: Blackcurrants, blackberries and licorice undertones as well as a slight herbal edge. Full-bodied with fresh acidity, firm tannins and a chocolatey finish. Robust style but freshness brings everything through. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Syrah.

Winemaker Notes
A perfect blend, in that this wine truly highlights all the best aspects of its components. On the nose, you’ll find all the umami notes of our Syrah, but with added earthiness and red cherry. On the palate, it pulls from our Cabernet Sauvignon—notes of graphite, tobacco spice, and leather. Finally, a finish reminiscent of our Malbec, velvety tannins that taste of a light cocoa dusting. Make no mistake, this is a big and powerful wine. As the tannins soften over time, this wine will give way to a bright acidity that will keep it a lively and enticing wine for at least a decade.
