2017 Rouge Caché - GSM

Founders Michael Patland and Jay Buoncristiani have long been astounded by the potential of Rhone varieties in California. Their fascination began with Viognier, and later spread to include the varieties included in a G(renache), S(yrah), M(ourvedre) blend. 

In keeping with the spirit of The Hidden Gallery, Michael and Jay sought to differentiate their GSM blend and bring something fresh and new to the table. A master at creating balance in wine, Jay suggested blending in a dash of Tannat. Michael, eager to create a red with bright and expressive aromatics, suggested the incorporation of Viognier. The result is truly a unique and balanced wine that will transport you outside the norm of Napa Valley.
