2022 "Select Barrel Reserve" Malbec

The wine opens with aromas of blueberry reduction, boysenberry, and hints of cinnamon. On the palate, this wine greets you with firm, plush tannins, achieving a rich yet refined mouthfeel that we always strive to showcase with our Malbec. You'll readily encounter flavors of dark Simca plum, blueberry pie, and boysenberry. The oak is well integrated, offering up delicate notes of sweet cinnamon spice, vanilla, and a potent baker's chocolate finish. This wine is incredibly expressive and enjoyable now. However, give this wine a few more years, and it will take on a more serious role, with even deeper complexity.
